Palo Alto , CA- July 29, 2008 - Pagemill Partners, Inc., a leading investment bank for the technology industry, today announced that Anton Papp has been promoted to Principal. He is instrumental in the firm's software, security and services practice; he recently advised Preventsys on its sale to McAfee.

Papp joined Pagemill Partners in 2005 bringing more than eight years of investment banking experience in the security, software and services industries. Throughout his career, he has been involved in more than 30 public, private and cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), equity financings, follow-on and initial public offerings. Prior to Pagemill, he held senior positions at investment banking firms including Robertson Stephens and Banc of America Securities.
Papp holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Boston University and an MBA in finance from Columbia Business School. He served in the U.S. Navy as an F-14 Naval Aviator for more than eight years and is a graduate of the Navy Fighter Weapons School (Top Gun).
